Q: How do you make Visual Novels?
A: I use a variety of programs centred around Ren'py, an open source game engine. My preferred coding interface is Atom.
For game assets, I use Clip Studio Paint EX, Ableton Live 10 Suite, iZotope RX 9 Advanced, GIMP, Sony Vegas Pro 16, and more! There's quite a lot of programs I use to create things...

Q: Can I send fan mail?
A: I own a Cohost account where you can send me questions that I can publically answer. Because Cohost is a social media platform, you can use Cohost to post fan content by pinging my handle: @corinna-vndev.

Q: How do I contact you for business/collaborations?
A: I do not keep my primary method of contact public: this is a deliberate choice. I do not do interviews or interact with press. I do not do collaborations, game jams, or zines. In the possibility I make exceptions from this, it is by my own discretion.

Q: I'd like to translate one of your games, how do I contact you?
A: I don't take free translations from third-parties, sorry!

Q: Where can I get updates on new releases?
A: Please follow my itch.io page for updates and new releases!

Q: What's the best way to support your work?
A: Following my VNs, rating, commenting and sharing with your friends helps me a lot!

Q: How do I support you commercially?
A: I do not take tips or any kind of payment from my works!

Q: Can I stream or record your games?
A: Yes, you can! Please include a link or shoutout to my itch.io page if you do.

Q: Can I create fan-made works of your games, such as fanart, cosplay, fanfiction, music covers/remixes etc?
A: Yes, you can! I encourage people to make fan-content for my games, but you must make sure that it is free.

Q: Can I make fan-made Visual Novels of your games?
A: Yes, you can, but you must make all of the game assets yourself. Please don't use my game assets in your fan works, no matter what it is.

Q: ...Does that include internet memes?
A: You can use screenshots, video and audio capture to create memes/fan jokes.

Q: Can I take tips from fan-made works?
A: Yes, you can. These must be clearly specified as tips.

Q: Can I create NSFW fanart?
A: It is dependent on if the characters involved are canonically minors.
If they're canonically of age (over 18) then sure! If they look like they go to school, then do not make NSFW works about them.
Generally speaking, if you're unsure if a character is a minor, don't make NSFW content about them.

Q: Can I make and sell fan merch at a convention or online?
A: Do not create merchandise of any kind with fan-made assets and/or my IP and sell it. Do not distribute or use game assets for yourself, paid or unpaid.
This includes Bandcamp, pay-by-view streaming services, Ko-fi, Gumroad, and other commercial fan stores.
If you want to distribute fan-made works of any kind then it must be available for free and with your own original assets.
